K9 Jax, #06 is a male German Shepherd, originally from the Netherlands. K9 Jax became the sixth canine with the Palatine Police department in September of 2021 and he attended his 6 week basic training course in Denver, Indiana. K9 Jax is certified in narcotics detection, the tracking of suspects and lost persons, building, area, and article searches, and aggression control. K9 Jax lives with his handler, Officer Wagner and his family.
