A fourth-generation Palatine resident, Greg Langer’s roots in the community trace back nearly a century. His family has been a proud part of Palatine’s history, with his grandfather serving as Assistant Volunteer Fire Chief and operating a local print shop for 55 years. His parents also contributed to the Village’s local character as longtime owners of Rainbow Restaurant and Café Connection.
Greg is a product of Palatine schools, having attended Stuart R. Paddock Elementary, Plum Grove Junior High, and William Fremd High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Illinois University.
Greg is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He served on the Whytecliffe Homeowners Board for seven years, including six years as President. He is also an active volunteer with the Palatine Historical Society, where he also served as Treasurer for three years. In recognition of his service, Greg was honored as a Palatine Park District Volunteer of the Year in 2023.
Greg enjoys spending his leisure time with his family and actively participating in his children's sports and activities.
Professionally, Greg is a seasoned marketer with a passion for innovation. He is currently the Vice President of Programmatic Supply at Havas Media, where he works with leading national and global brands.
