Remember to set your clocks back one hour when you go to bed on Saturday. Sunday, November 3 at 2:00 a.m. marks the end of Daylight Saving Time.

Palatine Farmers' Market is Year Around!

The Winter Farmers' Market will offer 15 vendors inside the Metra Train Station beginning Saturday, November 2, from 8:00 a.m. until noon every first and third Saturday of the month. Visit the Palatine Sister Cities website to view the various services, entertainment and products available.

The Palatine Public Library District invites everyone to discover, explore, and engage in critical thinking on Saturday, November 16, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Main Library's second annual STEAM Fair! Over 20 local businesses and organizations are bringing exciting activites that highlight subjects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, November 23

The holiday season arrives with a visit from Santa at Towne Square Park for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting! Join us Saturday, November 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and enjoy holiday music, cookies, hot chocolate, and pictures with Santa in the Towne Square gazebo.

Each year the Palatine Township coordinates a number of programs which assist our neighbors in need. Helping families from our community is a wonderful way to celebrate the true meaning of the holiday season.

Annual Leaf Collection Program

The Public Works Department began its annual Curbside Leaf Collection Program on Monday, October 21, 2019. Each single-family residence has two scheduled pickups. A final pickup for all zones will begin on Monday, November 18. Please click here to look up your scheduled collection days. All raked leaves must be placed into the street and ready for pickup no later than 7:00 a.m. on scheduled days, but no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to collection.
