Street Fest

The Village of Palatine will host their 20th annual Palatine Street Fest on Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Join us for live entertainment, food and family fun! Headlining bands will include Sixteen Candles, The Cadillac Three and Mr. Blotto (Woodstock Set).

Dundee Road Lane Closure

East-bound Dundee Road has been reduced to one lane of traffic to the west and east of Denise Drive.
The Village of Palatine is installing a new water main on Denise Drive, which will connect to the existing main on Dundee Road. East-bound Dundee Road is reduced to one lane of traffic to the west and east of Denise Drive (in front of the Deer Grove Shopping Center).  Access is maintained for traffic to enter the Deer Grove Center parking lot at Denise Drive. All traffic exiting the shopping center is directed to use Lynda Drive.
Denise Drive north of Dundee Road is also closed to all through traffic during this time. Local traffic is allowed. No detour route is posted.

Sidewalk Maintenance Program

As part of the Village's annual sidewalk maintenance program, deteriorated sidewalks are being replaced in the area south of Illinois Avenue from Plum Grove Road to Quentin Road and from Wood Street south to Euclid 
Avenue between Quentin and Roselle Roads. Designated sidewalks are removed and the new concrete is typically poured within 48 hours. The sidewalk is reopened after the new concrete has cured, which is usually within three days.

Palatine Children's Chorus Hosts Welcome Night
for New Singers


Palatine Childrens' Chorus (PCC) has been making music in the Palatine Community since 1987 and the chorus is open to all children ages 4 to 18 who love to sing. Chorus staff members are hosting free Welcome Nights on Monday, August 19 and Wednesday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Palatine Park District's Community Center, Room 1C, 250 E. Wood Street, Palatine. Interested singers are invited to attend one of these informational nights with a parent to learn about PCC, meet the staff and have a mini voice lesson.
