Construction Update


Construction continues on First Bank Drive from Northwest Highway to Hicks Road as part of the First Bank Drive Rehabilitation Project. The south-bound/west-bound lanes are closed to all traffic for pavement removal and replacement. A detour route has been posted to direct traffic to use south-bound Hicks Road and west-bound Northwest Highway. Access to businesses will be maintained during this time.

Hometown Pride Awards
Last Chance to Enter!

Nominations for the 2019 Hometown Pride Awards are due today, July 19! Submit your nomination form and one 4"x6" photo to the Public Works Department for a chance to be recognized by the Village of Palatine's Beautification Commission.
Nominate any residential property, subdivision entrance, multi-family residence, business, or your own home. Judges will evaluate entries in five categories: single family home, multi-family home, subdivision entrance/cul-de-sac island, business, and "Doors of Palatine". Judging will take place on Monday, July 22, 2019.

Electronics Recycling and Document Destruction Event at Harper College

The Village of Palatine, Palatine Park District, and Harper College are teaming up with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) to host the event at Harper College (1200 W Algonquin Road) this Saturday, July 20. Participants must be in a vehicle to enter.

The event will run from 9 am to Noon, with entry through EUCLID ENTRANCE ONLY. Residents from any of the 23 SWANCC member communities may participate.

2019 Downtown Palatine Street Fest
August 23 - 25, 2019

The Village of Palatine will host the annual Palatine Street Fest on Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25, 2018. 

Join us for live entertainment, food and family fun! Headlining bands will include Sixteen Candles, The Cadillac Three and Mr. Blotto (Woodstock Set).
