Daylight Savings

Daylight Saving Time Begins!
Set Clocks Ahead One Hour on March 10 

Remember to set clocks ahead one hour on Saturday before going to bed. Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 10 at 2:00 a.m., moving time ahead by one hour to 3:00 a.m.

Please remember to replace batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors during this time!

Early Voting begins March 18 through April 1

Early Voting for the upcoming Consolidated Election will take place March 18th through April 1st including weekends at Village Hall, 1st Floor- Room A, during the following hours:

  • Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (March 25 – 29: Open to 7:00 p.m.)
  • Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sundays: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Non-registered voters can register to vote and cast their ballot at all early voting sites. Two forms of identification must be presented with one ID showing the voter’s current address.

Grace-Period Voter Registration and Voting runs from March 6 through April 1 at Suburban Cook County Courthouses. Voters can register to vote and then cast their ballot.

On Election Day, April 2, polls will be opened from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at designated polling places. Non-registered voters can register to vote at their home precinct (polling place). Two forms of identification must be presented with one ID showing the voter’s current address.

The Palatine Village Clerk’s office will resume voter registration during our regular business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 4.
