Village Hall Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving

Village Hall Closed in Observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday

Village Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 27 at 8 a.m.

Curbside Leaf Pickup Resumes

Additional Curbside Leaf Collection Scheduled for Monday, November 27

Due to the warmer-than-usual weather this fall, many leaves had not fallen in time to meet the November 13th sweep.  As a result, one additional leaf collection will be conducted the week of November 27thNo additional pick-ups after this special collection will be considered. View the full statement regarding the additional leaf collection.

All zones must have their leaves raked into the street and ready for pick-up by 7 AM on Monday, November 27, 2017.  Crews will start the special pick-up on Monday and continue throughout the week until all leaves have been collected.  Only one pass down each street will be made.  All regular guidelines must be followed to have your leaves collected.

Palatine Coat and Winter Clothing Drive

Winter Clothing Drive
Through November 30

You may drop off the clothing in the large collection box in the front lobby of the Palatine Police Department now thru November 30th. The clothing will benefit Palatine Assisting Through Hope or PATH.

PATH is an organization dedicated to empowering people in need. This mission is carried out by providing food, clothing, and other basic needs for families in crisis. A variety of programs for underprivileged children are also supported. PATH’s ultimate goal is to transform lives by connecting those who need them with vital community resources in the Greater Palatine Area.

Toys for Tots

Toys For Tots Drive Now Through December 13

Please consider helping a child enjoy the holiday by donating to the 2017 Toys for Tots Holiday Drive now through Wednesday, December 13.

Toy collection boxes are located in Village Hall at 200 E. Wood Street, Palatine Police Department at 595 E. Hicks Road, and Fire Station #85 at 39 E. Colfax Street.
